This will be our first in-person meeting in two years. We will have refreshments and will raffle off some great books to attendees. Come join us to celebrate and to get more information on the Midterms.
Note: I am keeping an eye on how the new COVID variant tracks over the next few weeks. If COVID numbers start going up again in the county, we will notify you if plans for an in-person meeting will have to change.

Chance to Get Involved: Club Officers Needed (NEW)
Now that we’re getting back to in-person meetings, it’s time to choose new club officers. Several have been serving extra terms during this COVID era, so we _really_ need people to sign up for these positions. As you’ll see below, the main offices needing candidates are President, Vice President, Secretary, and one Director.
If you are interested, please come to our next meeting (April 4th at the Westminster Library) OR email Mark at wilsoncpu@gmail.com.
Terms (like the club year) run May through May.
Here are the offices to be filled, along with the current office holder and any candidates who have already stepped up.
Officers:
President. Kate Sanner (no candidates)
Vice President. (vacant) (no candidates)
Treasurer. Mark Wilson (wilsoncpu@gmail.com) (Mark Wilson will run again)
Secretary. Paula Monroe-Davidson (no candidates)
Communications Director. Mark Wilson (wilsoncpu@gmail.com) (Mark Wilson will run again)
Directors
– Carol Coley (Carol Coley will run again)
– Corynne Courpas (Corynne Courpas will run again)
– Harvey Rabinowitz (no candidate)
SO…. we need a candidate for President, a Secretary, and one more Director for the Board of Directors. (Since VP is vacant at the moment, that’s more of a “nice-to-have”).
If you have any questions about the duties and qualifications for any of these positions, please ask me, and I’ll put you in touch with the current person.
If you’ve been looking for a way to get directly involved with the Democratic effort in Carroll County, here’s your chance!
– Mark Wilson, Communications Director

Your CC Democratic Club in Action
The Club made two $50 donations in support of the Ukrainian people and their struggle. Both recipients are verified charities.
$50 went to Razom, at https://razomforukraine.org. Another $50 went to the World Central Kitchen, at https://wck.org.
In early December, the club made a donation of $100 (from our Good Works Fund) to Carroll County Food Sunday. This brings the club’s total donations to CCFS to over $500 since 2018!
We also made a donation of $100 (again, from our Good Works Fund) to The Shepherd’s Staff, in late December ’21.
Note: if you’re interested in what we’ve done in the last few years, there’s a “Your Club in Action” page on the website. It’s updated periodically to keep a running list:
