Plan was to strike ordinance from books, there will be a public hearing. Greg called Don, he would be willing to host a fundraiser, he's a chef, willing to cook for everyone. Fundraising/budget- Frank did calculation, $6,300 without Kohn ad, need an actual, rough budget to approve Voter outreach -- reject Trump while making sure we have a platform to stand on Keep sending letters to the editor Candidate Orientation and Recruitment- Virginia Harrison is registering for BOE /members should try and motivate those they meet to run for offices Need to do candidate training earlier for 2022, work with Club, maybe have it on a Monday night or two Monday nights Publicize positions that are open, where we need candidates NOW is the time to be recruiting candidates for 2022 First Fridays social events, tables at farmers' markets Issues -- still collecting articles and information on farmers, healthcare and education are still important drivers MDP Ethics and Sexual Harassment -- no report MDP Platform -- stalled with change in leadership, meeting with Ben soon to review plans and see where to go next, still looking to survey and have public hearings on platform planks, Mitch will send to everyone Carroll County Chamber of Commerce is having State of the County at Arts Center next Tuesday, January 14, 7:30-9:00 am MDP Field and Data -- no report Sexual and Gender Minority and Diversity -- January 16, MD Comes Out for Elizabeth Warren, not an endorsement CC Dems and SC Dems Clubs Meeting in February, January event was very well attended.
