Minutes

Meeting was held at the Carroll County Democratic Election
HQ in Westminster, MD and was called to order by Don West,
Chair, at 7:09pm.

Chair's Report
* Great Grand Opening, thanks to organizers/participants
* Colvin campaign- 12 counties, 12 days- Carroll County on
October 1, town hall at 7pm in Manchester, exact location

* Executive Committee Meeting
o Emphasizing door-to-door campaigning
o Volunteers for sexual harassment task force- Kate Sanner
o Volunteers for unity task force- Mitch
o Timing of seating new Central Committee members- possibly
seat after the election.  Will be discussed at next full
Central Committee meeting- Saturday December 1, 9:30, IBEW
in Lanham.
* Anita and Mitch- voter registration at CCC Monday,
September 17
    
Secretary's Report
Motion to approve report by Frank, 2nd by Chuck; vote
unanimous

Treasurer's report (informal)-
About $9,000 in bank- will have to deduct about $2,000 for
Kohn, about $1,000 coming in from breakfast- so we're
looking at about $6,000.  Expect to receive $1,140 Western
MD PAC.

Club Reports
* CCDems Club- Board of Ed forum, October 9, 7:00pm at HQ

Election Strategy

Ad to promote breakfast
o $500 toward Facebook promotions, can also promote Ben

* November meeting- moved to October 30, will discuss
necessity of additional meeting in October

New logo- $350- hold until after election
