Carroll County Democratic Central Committee Meeting Minutes

February 20th, 2014


Committee members in attendance
Maria Warburton, Jackie Jones, Paula Monroe-Davidson,  Frank
Rammes, Jim Gregory, Corynne Courpas,  Don West, and Dorothy
Scanlon.

Meeting was held in the Small Meeting Room of the Finksburg
Branch of the CCPL and was called to order by Jackie Jones, 
Chair, at 7:25 pm and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. 


Chair's Report
Jackie Jones reported on the last State Party meeting, which
was a conference call, due to inclement weather. She noted
that the CCDCC has a perfect record reporting to the State
Party.

Secretary's Report
January's minutes were sent to CCDCC members via e-mail.  A
motion to approve minutes was made by  Frank R., 2nd  by Jim
G., vote unanimous.                                         
                                                            
                                           

Treasurer's Report
Treasurer's report was sent out via e-mail to the members
and showed a current balance of $6,089.98.  Motion to
approve report by Don W., 2nd by  Maria W., vote unanimous. 


Club Reports
none

Special Report
Spencer Wood, Field Organizer for the Brown/Ulman 2014
gubernatorial campaign, discussed the campaign's strategy
and the upcoming meet and greet scheduled for February,
28th, 2014.

Committee Reports
There were no Local Politics, Events, Fundraising,
Grassroots/Outreach, or Communications reports.

Old Business
JJ Dinner was once again a topic of conversation.

New Business
There was a lengthy discussion about who was planning to
file for which offices by the February 25 deadline.

We discussed  the annual Hampstead Day, which will be held
on May 24th.  Don W. made a motion, 2nd by Frank R. that the
CCDCC again have a booth. Vote unanimous.  The question was
raised whether Jackie S-C was still the events coordinator –
she was not at this meeting.

Announcements
The next regular meeting for the CCDCC will be Thursday,
March 20th, 2014, starting at 7 pm, in the Large Meeting
Room of the Westminster Branch of the CCPL.
 

Meeting adjourned at 8:25 pm.
