We will soon be soliciting ideas and suggestions – watch your inboxes for that Blast!

NEW and UPDATED items are marked and highlighted in the Table of Contents, and in the details.

For UPDATED items, I’ll try to highlight the changed or new bits (like this!)
For information on joining the club, see “About the Club” at the end of the newsletter.

Any problems, or to submit items for the newsletter, email me at wils…

Note from the President

Dear friends,

I hope this finds you all doing well.

Former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner tweeted this on Monday: “To paraphrase Vince Lombardi (and my dad, who was also a football coach): ‘the election isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.’ It’s Monday, it’s another week to do everything we can to make sure everyone is getting ready to vote.”

With 61 days to go before Election Day on November 3 (even sooner with absentee voting), we need to prepare for the most consequential election of our lifetimes. The most important thing each of us can do now is to make a plan to vote. If you live in Carroll County, MD, stay up to date with the latest information on voting in the upcoming election by going to the website of the Carroll County Board of Elections at or go to the site of the Maryland Board of Elections at If you live outside of Maryland, NBC News has a great new resource that provides information on how to vote by mail and register to vote in each state at

As our new CC Dems billboard says, VOTE…your life may depend on it.

Take care of yourselves, stay involved, and stay well.

Kate Sanner

President of the CC Democratic Club
