Note from the President (NEW)
Dear friends,
Thank you to all of you who attended the Democratic Club meeting this past Monday evening on Zoom. We held a business meeting, got some informative updates from Don West, the chair of the CC Democratic Central Committee; from Carol Coley, one of our Club’s Directors, who serves on the CC Board of Elections, and from Harvey Rabinowitz, one of our Club’s Directors, about the work of the CC Redistricting Committee on which he serves. We reviewed the results of the survey we sent you regarding the activities you want the Club to be engaged in and where you want the Club to meet. We also had some great discussions.
I am in the process of transcribing the minutes from the meeting so we can share with you the ideas by Don about the 2022 elections and about how we all can participate in our local politics and elections, even if we never run for office, as well as the updates from Carol and Harvey. We will let you know as soon as the minutes are ready.
Our next Club meeting will take place via Zoom on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 7 PM. I hope you can attend. We invite and appreciate your participation and your ideas.
Take care everyone and stay well,
Kate Sanner, President of the CC Democratic Club

Postcards to Voters (PTV)
If you would like to get involved in getting Democrats elected but can’t see yourself doing phone-baking or door-to-door canvassing, then postcard writing may be for you. Writing postcards to voters is one of the best ways to reach out to voters around the country about their local elections or to sign up for vote by mail. There are elections going on right now (with many more to come next year) and you can be part of getting Democrats elected by writing friendly, handwritten postcards. As a volunteer postcard writer, you will provide the postcards, stamps, and time, PTV will provide what to write, thorough instructions, and addresses of voters.
To learn more about becoming an authorized writer, go to www.postcardstovoters.org.
