Democrats Care: An Opportunity to Help Local School Children (UPDATED)

Democrats Care: An Opportunity for Carroll County Democratic Club Members to Help Carroll County School Children in Need as They Start the 2018-2019 School Year

The Shepherd’s Staff (TSS) of Carroll County, Maryland’s 2018 Back-To-School Program is underway. The program helps provide Carroll County students with the supplies they need for the school year.  With the help of caring residents and organizations, over 1,200 students were served last year!

Though many organizations have donated actual school supplies, TSS has told Kate Sanner, the CCDC Vice President, that a monetary donation would help them the most. Their space is very limited right now and a monetary donation would allow them to buy new shoes for Pre-K through High School students.

Children feel a sense of pride and self-esteem as they start a new school year with the supplies and clothing they need. And there are few things as worthwhile as helping a child.

Send checks, made out to “CC Dem Club/Shepherd’s Staff”, to:
Mark Wilson, 1699 King Richard Road, Eldersburg, MD 21784 by AUGUST 13!
