CCDemClub NEWSLETTER #78, 8/23/18
NEW and UPDATED items are marked and highlighted in the Table of Contents, and in the details.
For information on joining the club, see “About the Club” at the end of the newsletter.
For UPDATED items, I’ll try to highlight the changed or new bits (like this!)
OOPS! The last newsletter had the right date (8/16/18), but the wrong number (76) – should have been 77. Yeah, I know, nobody noticed or cared, but I’m OCD, so it bugged me!
I’m going to mark the new listings for “Patriots Resist” rallies as “updates” when I add them, instead of “new”, since it’s only the listing that’s new, not the activity. This should make it easier to pick out the brand-new stuff.
***** TONS of new stuff this week!*****

BALLOT INITIATIVES
From Eva Lewis, Political Director of the Maryland Democratic Party:
There are two ballot initiatives that voters will vote on for this election –
(1) Fix the Fund so that monies from gambling are in a “lockbox” and can only be used for education and
(2) passing an amendment to our state constitution to allow same day registration on election days.
The state party supports both ballot initiatives.
