Note from the President (NEW)

Dear friends,

Thanks to all of you who attended our CC Democratic Club Zoom meeting on Monday. If you were unable to attend and would still like to give your input on: what activities you would like to see Club doing, the newsletter, or what other outreach in addition to the newsletter would you like to receive (e.g., calls, texts, postcards), please email us at ccdemclubmd@gmail.com   with your suggestions.

PLEASE SAVE THE DATE of Monday, May 3, 2021 at 7 PM for our next Club meeting via Zoom. In addition to our general meeting, we will have as our speaker, Bryan Lyburn, Executive Director at Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County, who will speak about the work of Habitat for Humanity in Carroll County, HFH’s new ReStore; and about the need for – and the scarcity of – affordable housing in Carroll County. Mr. Lyburn is a dynamic speaker and HFH plays such an important role in the life and well-being of our County, so I encourage you make time to attend and hear him speak. Invitations to the meeting will be sent to you via email as we did for the April meeting.

Take care and stay well.

Kate Sanner

President of the CC Democratic Club
