This is a peaceful gathering to spread the love!

Make a sign to celebrate inclusion! (this is not a rally or protest, no chants, just signs).

Meet in front of the Westminster Branch Library, by the Lion from 1 to 2pm every Saturday.

Please keep your signs Welcoming, Positive and FOR something (not against something, this is a message of inclusion and welcome for all)

There are no organizers for this event.  It is an organic gathering meant to spread peace, love and inclusion.

Our speaker will be Dave Scott, who will be speaking on the refugee crisis, NATO, or both. (He was  senior member of the US Military Delegation to NATO.)

Club business: swearing-in of new club officers.

ALSO: we will be awarding our 2017 Maxine Wooleyhand Memorial Scholarship to Ryan Koch! Come meet Ryan, and help us congratulate him (and his family).

Some of us arrive early at 6 to share an informal meal before the meeting, so please feel free to join us for that as well!

The CCDCC is sponsoring a showing of the film “Lincoln” at the Carroll Arts Center on Friday, May 19th (2 screenings – matinee at 1 pm, evening at 7:30 pm).

The Carroll County Democratic Club will hold its annual picnic at the Lion’s Club Park in Silver Run, 1-4pm. Open to all members. New members can join at the picnic!
