Note from the President

Our virtual CC Democratic Club meeting will take place on Zoom on Monday, April 5th from 7-8 PM.  

You should have already received an invitation via email to attend the meeting. It will be necessary to RSVP that you will attend in order to get the Zoom link for the meeting. You will also receive an agenda and also some guidelines for the meeting.

We are looking forward to restarting our meetings!

Your CCDemClub in Action: Two More Donations (NEW)

The club has made two more donations for good local causes: $25 each to the Campaign Against Prejudice, as well as the Maryland Poor People’s Campaign.


Moving Forward: A Conversation with 2020 MD Electoral College Voter Corynne Courpas

Kate Sanner, host of Moving Forward (and president of the CC Dem Club), interviews Corynne Courpas about her experience as a 2020 MD Electoral College Voter during a period of pollical strife and COVID-19, her decades-long involvement in public service, and her insights on the role politics plays in our lives, the importance of local elections, and turning your passion for a cause into political activism.
*Ms. Courpas is also a Director of the CC Dem Club.



April 5, 2021: Club Meeting via ZOOM!

The CC Democratic Club will hold its first Virtual meeting via Zoom on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 7-8 PM. Before the meeting, you will be sent an email that will contain: 1) some guidelines about attending a Zoom meeting and 2) an agenda for the meeting. You will receive a separate email that will contain the link to the Zoom meeting (and a phone number in case you want to call in instead of using the video function.)

May 20, 2021: Virtual Victory Gala fundraiser (UPDATED)

The Carroll County Democratic Central Committee’s “Annual Victory Dinner and Silent Auction”, scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Martin’s Westminster, has been RESCHEDULED as the “Virtual Victory Gala” on Thursday, May 20, 2021, 7pm-9pm.  For info, contact the CCDCC at

June 19, 2021: HSCC Wolfstock

The Humane Society of Carroll County has announced that the 5th annual Wolfstock will be at the Ag Center in Westminster on June 19th.  Mark your calendar.  This is a fun fundraiser that includes over 60 vendors, Jack Russell racing, animal demos, goat yoga, pet contests, live music, food, craft brews.

A variety of business sponsorships are available.

Your support will assist with pet adoptions, education, spay/neuter, medical treatments for animals in the care of the HSCC.
