We are going to try to send out a weekly newsletter listing all the news and upcoming events for the next month or so. We’ll emphasize the newly-added items. As always, you can also go to ccdems.com/events at any time to see the full calendar and details. Anyway, here they are in chronological order:

Weekly Gathering for Inclusion – every Saturday!

From the CarrollCAN website:
This is a peaceful gathering to spread the love! Make a sign to celebrate inclusion! (this is not a rally or protest, no chants, just signs) Meet in front of the Westminster Branch Library, by the Lion from 1 to 2pm every Saturday.
Please keep your signs Welcoming, Positive and FOR something (not against something, this is a message of inclusion and welcome for all)
There are no organizers for this event. It is an organic gathering meant to spread peace, love and inclusion. Any questions please email In…@carrollcan.org

ACA (ObamaCare) TOWN HALL
CarrollCAN is sponsoring a Town Hall about the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare)
Where/when: March 2, from 6-8pm at St. Paul’s Church, 17 Bond St, Westminster, MD 21157.
(Together We Will is now CarrollCAN.)

7pm at Johansson’s in Westminster.
Our speaker will be Angela I. Gustus, MPA. She is the Executive Director of Human Services Programs of Carroll County, Inc.
Some of us arrive early at 6 to share an informal meal before the meeting, so please feel free to join us for that as well!

April CCDemClub meeting: Monday, April 3
7pm at Johansson’s in Westminster.
Our speaker will be Ed Cramer, candidate for Westminster City Council. This is a NON-PARTISAN race and presentation!
Some of us arrive early at 6 to share an informal meal before the meeting, so please feel free to join us for that as well!

May CCDemClub meeting: Monday, May 1
7pm at Johansson’s in Westminster.
Last meeting of the club year! (Resumes in September)
Our speaker will be Dave Scott, who will be speaking on the refugee crisis, NATO, or both. (He was senior member of the US Military Delegation to NATO.)
Some of us arrive early at 6 to share an informal meal before the meeting, so please feel free to join us for that as well!
