DID YOU KNOW?
-
Maryland state legislature unanimously passed a new public ethics law in 2010.
-
It requires all local governments to pass revised ethics ordinances.
-
Financial disclosure requirements must now be at least as strict as those met by state officials.
-
Carroll County is the ONLY county in Maryland that has not complied with this law to date.
Now the county commissioners are moving forward! Please attend to let our elected officials know that the public demands transparent and ethical government.
