We work to promote Democratic ideals and candidates. We also present speakers on topics of interest to voters at our meetings. We’re based in Westminster.

Carroll County Dems Holiday Dinner
The joint CCDemClub/CCDCC Holiday Dinner is set for Thursday, December 14th.
It starts with a social time at 6:30 pm, with dinner at 7 pm.
It will be at the Buttersburg Inn in Union Bridge, MD.
‘Dutch treat’, and it’s BYOB, but coffee, tea and soda are provided.

* Shelter has a 95% live release rate
* Petsmart has made a difference in the adoption rate by taking cats into their Maryland and Pennsylvania stores.

$576.11 General account at BB&T; up $15.00 from last month
$234.00 Scholarship account at BB&T; up $10.00 from last month
$333.94 Community Foundation balance, since $500 Scholarship was paid out.
There are now 31 dues-paying members.
Treasurer’s Report was accepted
CCDCC Holiday Party – Dec 14th 6 pm at Buttersburg Inn.
This year there will be 4 choices of entrees and dessert. This has become a very popular event. 35 people have signed up, maximum is 45 people. Final day to sign up is Dec 7th if space is still available.
Next meeting is the first Monday in March 2018. At this time there is not a speaker lined up.

Delegate
School Board – this is a non-partisan position
State Senate
