About the Club:
We work to promote Democratic ideals and candidates. We also present speakers on topics of interest to voters at our meetings. We’re based in Westminster.
To pay CCDemClub annual dues, send a check made out to “”CCDemClub” to Mark Wilson, Treasurer, 1699 King Richard Road, Eldersburg, MD 21784.
$15 for a single, $25 for a couple. You will receive a spiffy 2017-2018 club membership card in the mail! Back to our regularly-scheduled program….

Busting Stereotypes about Racism:
Beyond Confederate Monuments and Racist Relatives
St. Paul’s United Church of Christ on October 22, 2017, 3pm-5pm.

This will be an informational program aimed at understanding structural racism and exploring ways to alleviate it. The program will be followed by appetizers and desserts, and a free-will offering will be taken to benefit Carroll Citizens for Racial Equality and Carroll County NAACP.

December 14:

Carroll County Dems Holiday Dinner

The joint CCDCC/CCDemClub Holiday Dinner is set for Thursday, December 14th, starting with a social time at 6:30 pm, dinner at 7 pm. It will be at the Buttersburg Inn in Union Bridge, MD. ‘Dutch treat’, and it’s BYOB, but coffee, tea and soda are provided.

There will be a sign-up page where you can sign up and choose your entree and dessert from the available choices, once that’s all set. This page will also have details on how to pay; the cost will be $35/person which includes tip.
